Gangsta’s Paradise LostCoolio and his immaculately-styled braids are in hiding today. According to TMZ, LA law enforcement issued a $10,000 bench warrant for his arrest for failing to appear in court. His lawyer made several attempts to reach him, but was unsuccessful.
The Compton-born rapper has been on probation since 2009 after being caught in possession of crack cocaine at Los Angeles International Airport.
No word yet on whether or not Weird Al Yankovic has been taken into protective custody.

The former Guns N’ Roses/Velvet Revolver ax man is shooting a video for his single, “By The Sword,” this week, and he’s looking for a few good moshers. 75 male and female punk rockish extras are needed, ranging in age from 18 to 22. 12 to 14 hour shooting days will occur on Thursday, April 8 through Friday, April 9. It’s a pro bono gig, but lunch and beverages will be provided.

Weezer recruits Kenny G to help with their “Daddy” issuesWeezer just released what could possibly be the most random video of all time for “I’m Your Daddy,” the new single from Raditude. It showcases… well, just about anything and everything, including live performances, Microsoft Paint animations, knitting, beard-growing, and conjuring dogs out of thin air. The band even has a jam session with Kenny G (with his audio track mercifully turned off). It also appears to be a nice love letter to fans, highlighting a lot of candid concert footage.

Owl City shines up the North SideCheck out the new music video from Owl City called “Vanilla Twilight,” starring an alternate universe Pittsburgh where Shaq has a mansion on the North Side.
Believe it or not, this actually was filmed in the ‘Burgh during Snowmageddon 2010. Between this and all those sweeping skyline shots in “She’s Out of My League,” the Steel City is gettin’ one hell of a glossy makeover. Next thing you know, the trailer for “Sex and the City 3″ will feature a ridiculously glammed up Sarah Jessica Parker taking a Just Ducky tour down the Mon.
