jack white & alicia keys debut “bond” videoThe video for Jack White and Alicia Keys’ Quantum of Solace theme “Another Way To Die” hit the internet today. Not surprisingly, it’s a great song.
The video is surprisingly un-Bond-like, with no explosions, cartoon women being shot out of pistols or even any footage from the actual film. Instead, it’s just Keys and White singing their duet in that desert where they shoot all those car commercials. It’s very unusual to see White in a video with a woman that doesn’t have that red and white motif.

With her new album Circus ready to go, Britney Spears told New York pop radio station Z100 yesterday that she’s planning on embarking on a massive tour. “Oh definitely, next year,” Spears said of her tour plans, adding that the jaunt would likely take her “around the world.”
The tour would be Spears’ first large scale set of shows since 2004. Talking also about her three VMA award wins and the “Piece of Me” video, Spears said “It’s a cool video, but I think by far I’ve done videos that are way better, so I was really shocked that it got the award.” So were we, Brit, so were we…
Spears also said that her role on Circus is complete and that she expects the album to be released December 2nd, her 27th birthday.

A representative for Janet Jackson says the singer has been hospitalized after falling ill shortly before a concert.
According to statement released by W&W Public Relations, the singer canceled her concert in Montreal on Monday after she “got suddenly ill” during her sound check and had to be rushed to the hospital just before show time.
The statement says Jackson is being monitored at the hospital and hopes to reschedule the show. No further information was given about Jackson’s condition.
No word yet on how Janet’s illness will effect other TOUR dates.

travis barker released from hospital
Travis Barker has been released from a Georgia hospital after suffering severe burns in a fiery plane crash more than a week ago.
Hospital spokeswoman Beth Frits says Barker was released on Monday morning.
Barker and DJ AM were the only survivors of the crash just before midnight Sept. 19 at the main airport in Columbia, S.C. Two pilots and two other passengers were killed.
DJ AM, whose real name is Adam Goldstein, was released from the hospital last week.
Doctors have said they expect both men to fully recover.

brit’s new song, “womanizer”
brit’s new song, “womanizer”Britney Spears’ “Womanizer,” the first single from her upcoming Circus, finally hit radio stations before getting uploaded onto YouTube, as evidenced by the video above. The song, which would be decent if Spears didn’t sing, was produced by Atlanta crew the Outsyders. Spears reportedly shot a video for “Womanizer” at a Los Angeles sushi restaurant, with Brit playing the role of a “vampy waitress.”
In the meantime, “Womanizer” will make its television debut this Monday on a new episode of MTV’s The Hills.

Kanye West will not face felony charges after a camera-smashing incident with paparazzi at LAX on September 11th.
Los Angeles prosecutors are still deciding whether they’ll file a lesser charge against West.
