something to be desired: best series

Over the past couple of years, I’ve been lucky enough to meet some really cool people who are working on some pretty interesting projects here in Pittsburgh. One of those projects is a gem of a find that’s been garnering quite a bit of attention over the last year – it’s a web series called Something to Be Desired (also known as STBD).

Well, it’s a web sitcom about life after college – and a popular one at that. In fact, Justin Kownacki, the writer/producer/director/editor of the web sitcom, just told me that they’ve been selected as one of 5 nominees by Yahoo for “Best Series” in their 2008 Yahoo Video Awards! Nice!!! Woot woot!

If you haven’t seen Something to Be Desired, DEFINITELY check it out. It’s absolutely worth a watch.
