A five-some of new Prince tracks hit the airwaves

Just a heads-up to those of you looking to get a little funky this Friday night: The Artist Formerly Known As The Artist Formerly Known As (But Who Is Now Known Again As) Prince, But Who Was Also Formerly Known As Some Weird Little Symbol Thing debuted a bunch of great new tracks yesterday. And now, they’re all available for your listening pleasure for free.

Four of the songs aired on Los Angeles‘ Indie 103.1 yesterday, while the fifth surfaced on a seemingly unrelated website. They include four original pieces, as well as a cover of Tommy James & The Shondells‘ Crimson and Clover. Pretty good stuff, if I do say so.
