What’s my age again? … Seventeen?!?

What’s my age again? … Seventeen?!?

Tom DeLonge is ANGRY.

2009 is apparently the year of alt-rock-radio-staple reunions. First No Doubt, then Blur, and now Blink-182 join the mix to party like it’s 1999. Last night at the Grammies, the band appeared together for the first time in four years to the tune of their ‘99 single “What’s My Age Again?” And it’s not just a one-off showing either: a message on their official website revealed that they plan to record a new album and tour sometime in the summer.

That makes seventeen years for a band that’s still (likely) writing music like they’re teenagers in a pop-punk garage band. Blink, please don’t grow up; the last thing we need is for you to split up again and try to tackle more terrible side projects.
