One of the new features included with our updated ticketing admin is a dynamic event selection tool that allows you to easily assign items to multiple events at once, including custom templates, questions, coupons and discount codes. It can be launched from any section that contains a list of assignable items, such as the “Customize,” “Coupons” and “Promotion” tabs. To run it, simply navigate to one of these tabs, select the item you wish to assign and click the “Assign to Events” button at the top of the list.
When launched, the event selection window will display two columns. The left column displays upcoming events that have been created in your ticket seller account. If the event or series you wish to select is present, click on it to move it to the right column. You can also select every event in the left column by clicking the “Select All” button.
Your selected events and series will appear in the right column and will be assigned to the chosen item upon confirmation. If you make a mistake and wish to remove a selected event before confirming, simply click on that event in the right column to remove it. If you want to start over and clear all selected events and series, click the “Remove All” button above the right column.
If the events or series you wish to select are not present in the left column, you can use the live search fields at the top of the window to locate them. The live search fields allow you to filter events by name, a specific date or a defined date range. Enter your search data to filter the events. To clear search results and begin a new search, hit the “Reset Search” button in the top right corner of the window.
Once you have your desired events or series selected, you can confirm your selections by clicking the “Make Selection” button in the bottom right corner of the window. Once your selections are confirmed, the item you chose will instantly be assigned to all events present in the right column.
