Interactive Seat Map in Action: Select My Seats Case Study

There’s something comforting about choosing your own seat to an event: you get to decide what is best for you—front and center; off to the side; take over an entire row with your family and friends. So we developed an interactive seat map to make it as easy as possible for ticket buyers to choose where they want to sit.

We spoke to several event organizers and venue managers about our new seating chart—ranging from performing arts venues to college campuses to live music—and they were stoked about sharing the flashy new interface with their ticket buyers.

“It’s just really important to [customers] to be able to pick where they’re sitting.  Since we’ve implemented the map, we’ve had a great, enthusiastic response from the customers,” explained Tom Simpson, owner of The Kent Stage in Ohio that hosts hundreds of live music acts every year.
