Yousei Teikoku

Prepare yourselves for a wild ride. Yousei Teikoku was founded on the idea that humanity’s dwindling belief in fairies must be reversed in order to bring back the purity in people’s hearts. The band merges heavy and aggressive rock music with metal, classical, and techno. You may recognize their songs from many anime series, notably including “Kuusou Mesorogiwi” for Future Diary.  Be sure not to miss them on Saturday!

JAM Project

Join JAM Project for their fourth collaboration with Otakorp. This band is especially well known for their extensive contributions of theme music for Super Robot Wars and Garo. They made their United States debut at Otakon 2008, then returned for Otakon Music Fest in 2012, then made a brief appearance at Otakon Vegas in 2015.Get ready to be blown away by this veteran Otakon band!

FLOW

Get pumped for FLOW, an anime-famous band that started with just two brothers in 1998. By 2003, FLOW began getting national attention with their single, “Blaster,” and since then they’ve performed the theme songs for several animes, including “Go!!!” for Naruto and “COLORS” for CODE GEASS: Lelouch of the Rebellion. Don’t miss their energetic and dynamic live show!

T.M.Revolution

Come dance to the ear-catching tunes of T.M.Revolution! Takanori Nishikawa made his debut as T.M.R. in 1996 with his single “Dokusai –monopolize-,” and ever since his intriguing and irresistible performances have established him as an incredible performer. Many of his songs have been picked up as themes of major anime series and games, including Mobile Suit Gundam and Sengoku Basara.

“The Anisong World Matsuri brings Japanese music – pop, rock, metal, and more – to audiences around the world. They have done shows in LA and Shanghai, but this is the first time we are doing it on the East Coast of the US. For us this is sort of new territory –  Otakon was among the first conventions to bring in big Japanese acts 15 years ago, but this is a new sort of partnership that really kicks our already solid production up a level.” – Jim Vowles Jr, Assistant Director of Guests & Industry, Otakon 2017
