Yinzers and Burghers, we hope you’re ready for the return of one of Pittsburgh’s most exciting music festivals! On August 26, XTAZA Nightclub will host the 5th annual Four Chord Music Festival. During this all-day music event, fans can treat themselves to plenty of food, drinks, and awesome live performances that will get their hearts thumping to the beat of the bass!
The festival is hosted by Four Chord Music, a 100% independent record label based in the Steel City. They believe that music isn’t about the money or the fame, it’s about influencing and helping as many people as possible. If you agree that music is something that needs to be fostered, and that true talent is something to be celebrated, Four Chord Music Festival is the place for you!
With nearly two dozen bands scheduled to appear, Four Chord Music Festival promises to be the perfect event for the pop-punk rocker in us all. This year’s festival features headlining performances by ska punk icons Less Than Jake and punk-pop powerhouse Bayside, along with the unstoppable punk rock talent of Pittsburgh natives Anti-Flag. Add to that the likes of Hit The Lights, Eternal Boy, Patent Pending, Forever Came Calling, and an acoustic set by Cartel, plus so many more incredible bands, and you’d be hard pressed to find a more exciting lineup for a festival of this scale! Plus, offering an even more immersive festival experience, VIP ticket-holders will gain access to exclusive acoustic performances by Hit The Lights and Patent Pending, as well as receive Four Chord Music Festival merch, lunch in the event’s official catering area with select bands, and professional photos on the festival’s red carpet!
As if that wasn’t enough excitement, Four Chord Music Festival is also hosting a pre-show on the 24th! Taking place at The Smiling Moose, the pre-show will feature a lineup of fan-favorite bands, including an exclusive reunion performance by headliner Cali AC! And in addition to epic giveaways like festival tickets and band merch, you’ll be among the first to taste Dancing Gnome Brewery’s newest pale ale, “The Party Foul.”
With less than two weeks to go until the festival, there’s no time to waste! Get your tickets today!
“I love Pittsburgh. It is pretty simple. The Pittsburgh punk/ska/pop punk music scene has given me so much and the bands that inhabit it, and this event is a celebration of all the scene has given to me. There really isn’t a punk focused festival like this one and we hope that people realize the importance of independent, boutique style events like this.” – Rishi Bahl, Four Chord Music
