Summer is winding down, but we’re looking forward to crisper air, harvest ales, football season (Go Steelers!), and a few of our favorite Pittsburgh events in the upcoming months. Fall in Pittsburgh brings concerts, tours, and craft beer festivals. With so many awesome events, it can be hard to choose!
We’re featuring a few of our favorite events happening this fall season. We hope to see you there!
September 12 at Construction Junction in Pittsburgh, PA
We can’t get enough of Steel City Big Pour. The ambience of Construction Junction’s warehouse setting, in combination with live music, art displays, and the best of local craft brews and bites, makes this event a must. Big Pour even has an app that allows you to see live beer ratings throughout the sessions. Proceeds help Construction Junction continue to further their conservation efforts through recycling and reusing building materials!
September 18-20 and 25-27 at Penn Brewery in Pittsburgh, PA
Penn Brewery’s annual Oktoberfest celebration brings German tradition to Pittsburgh for two weekends this September. Spend a weekend tasting Penn Brewery’s best beers on tap, sampling a few traditional german dishes, and raising a stein or two! If you want the full experience, VIP packages are available and include perks like VIP-Only lines in the Biergarten. Prost!
Thrival Innovation + Music Festival
September 25-26 at Almono – Hazelwood in Pittsburgh, PA
Thrival Innovation + Music Festival celebrates the modern Pittsburgh renaissance, combining a week of innovation, technology, and live music. In its third year running, Thrival’s growth parallels Pittsburgh’s, expanding their events to include over 20 major live music performances and 30 innovation events that may spark the next technology breakthrough. We are thrilled to be part of an event that is close to our roots. Pick a day to check it out and get inspired!
Over the Rivertowne Brewery Tour
October 3, begins at Pittsburgh Public Market – Strip District in Pittsburgh, PA
Explore two brewing facilities and sample favorite craft beers with Rivertowne Brewing Company. You’ll start off your day sampling beers at the East End Growler Shop in the Strip District. After registration, you’ll head to Export, PA to tour Rivertowne’s brewery. They offer a wide spectrum of ales and lagers, so there’s something for everyone! Guests will end the tour at Full Pint’s Brewery in North Versailles. If it’s warm outside, we recommend grabbing the Full Pint White Lightning, a local favorite!
