Our team is always on the move! Last weekend, we took a stroll through the fluorescent landscapes of Brookgreen Gardens for their Night of a Thousand Candles holiday experience, and partnered with some very young architects to build our own creations at LEGO KidsFest.
Read on to hear more about our experiences at these two awesome events!
Brookgreen Gardens’ Night of a Thousand Candles – Aaron Crothers
This was our first year on-site for Night of a Thousand Candles (NOTC) at Brookgreen Gardens in Murell’s Inlet, SC. NOTC is a Christmas Lights walking tour of the gardens and, according to the event website, “Brookgreen Gardens comes to life amid the soft glow of more than 5,500 hand-lit candles and countless sparkling lights.”
If you’re looking for a great time with the family or a fun night out with friends, then you should check out Night of a Thousand Candles for yourself!
LEGO KidsFest Hartford – Brandon Lehman
Inspiring the young builders of tomorrow through play, I traveled to the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford for LEGO KidsFest. This 3-day festival was sold out in 4 out of the 5 sessions, making this one of the most well-attended LEGO KidsFest events ever. Families traveled from as far as New Haven, New York City, Providence, Boston and Philadelphia to attend.
