Revelry reigns and shenanigans abound at the Bristol Renaissance Faire, open every weekend from July 6 through Labor Day Monday! Voted “Best Renaissance Faire” for the eighth consecutive year in 2018, Bristol Renaissance Faire is one of the most inclusive places on Earth. Modern-day cosplayers, hipsters, families, and singles all have one thing in common: they have come to escape their 21st century reality in favor of a carefree, joyful day mixing with jousting knights, saucy wenches, regal ladies, and the court of a beautiful and gracious queen.
Oh So Family-Friendly!
The Bristol Renaissance Faire has been voted among the top ten family-friendly faires in the country for the past eight years! Children will love the Kids’ Kingdom, which is more than an acre of fantasy playground and entertainment. Plus, for added convenience, inside Kids’ Kingdom is an air-conditioned Nursing Room with electrical outlets available for pumps. KidsQuest, a 30 minute adventure for ages 4-10, is available every Faire day! Picky eaters will find full menus of pizza, chicken nuggets, hot dogs, and mac & cheese bites throughout the Faire as well! Children aged 12 and under are admitted free on July 6 and 7, children aged four and under are admitted free every day, and scouts, leaders, and their families receive discount admission on August 24 and 25.
A Fabulous Feast Prepared for You
Vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and traditionalists will all find something for them at the Faire! More than thirty food purveyors dot the Faire site, tempting guests with the flavors of the Mediterranean including falafel, hummus, and baklava; of England including fish and chips, meat pies, brats, and bangers; and dozens of delectable bites in a category best described as foodie-centric, such as chocolate covered strawberries, coconut shrimp, artichokes, garlic mushrooms, and grilled pineapple with chocolate sauce. And, for many, the star of the Renaissance Faire feast menu is the iconic and epically-sized roasted turkey legs! Tea, lemonade, slushies, water, and Pepsi products are available throughout the Faire, along with a variety of seasonal, flavored ciders, mead, hard seltzers, micro-brews, imported beers, and wine. And, don’t miss Green Angel Kaffee Haus serving espresso, cappuccino, chai, iced mocha, and a variety of desserts daily!
Experience Mind-Blowing Entertainment
Every weekend from July 6 through Labor Day Monday, attendees will enjoy a rotating cast of exceptional performances. Watch the world catch fire with Adam Crack: Fire Whip, who holds seven Guinness Book World Records and encourages a blaze of audience participation. Watch Lauryn Murray of Aerial Silk Fantasy nimbly climb silk banners and dance above your heads in the tree tops! And sing along with Rambling Sailors, the new effort by performers Gregga and Susan Csikos that aims to bring traditional sea music, history, and stories to the stage in the style that inspired generations of sailors to go to sea. And, don’t miss the Faire’s perennial favorites: The Jousters, Broon, and Dirk and Guido!
