Did You Know: Name Your Price Tool

Did you know you’re able provide an option for customers to choose their own ticket price?

Our system’s “pay what you want” pricing option offers your customers the opportunity to contribute as little or as much as they want per ticket. This feature can be particularly helpful for virtual event and live stream organizers, those hosting fundraising events, and performing arts organizations, because it not only entices more people to buy tickets in advance, it encourages customers to contribute more to your organization at checkout! It also increases the efficiency of your checkout process, as it removes the need for customers to take extra steps to add a donation separately.

When creating an event in our system, simply change the Ticket Type from “Fixed Price” to “Pay What You Want.” You can then choose to add a suggested price, which will appear on the checkout page as a preset, editable ticket price. You may also set a minimum price, which is the lowest required ticket amount. This will help guarantee the costs for your event are covered, but will allow your customers some flexibility in choosing what they pay. From there, you can choose to set a limited quantity available, a minimum and maximum per order, and any other applicable options.
