Edmonton Airshow is an entertainment spectacle that celebrates the rich history and modern evolution of aviation, particularly in Edmonton. Get excited for two full days of aerobatics, displays, and freestyle RMX performances on August 19 and 20, all from the Villeneuve Airport!

Experience the incredible aerobatics and displays from nine different performers!
Get ready for the Snowbirds, Canada’s military aerobatics demonstration team. This crew hasn’t flown in full formation in fifteen years, but they’re pulling out all the stops in celebration of Canada’s 150th birthday. Veterans and plane buffs will love seeing a commemorative CT-114 Tutor jet with the Canada 150 paint scheme. Flying at speeds of 600 km/h with less than 1.2m between each aircraft, this is sure to be a heart-stopping show!
Watch Geoff Latter’s aerial ballet as he demonstrates the graceful and elegant flying capabilities of the fully restored Nanchang CJ-6A from the People’s Liberation Army Air Force.
Keep your eyes on Kent Pietsch, The Fanatic, who flies a yellow Interstate Cadet that’s covered in jelly beans, and perfectly executes three acts, one of which includes turning his engine off at 6000 feet!
Witness Gravity-Defying FMX Stunts
The Edmonton Airshow is more than just planes, it’s also freestyle motocross. Get ready to be amazed by tail whips, backflips, and stunts by native Montanan, Keith Sayers. After winning three Montana state motocross championships, Sayers continued on to freestyle motocross, eventually becoming one of the best. His routine last year was incredible, so this year is sure to be unreal!

In between performances, check out everything else the Edmonton Airshow has to offer! Refuel at the Food Truck Village, complete with 20 food trucks for all your culinary cravings.
