Event Spotlight: History Uncorked - Toys

History Uncorked, presented by BNY Mellon, returns to the Heinz History Center for its 18th annual party for young professionals. The party will be revolving around the History Center’s upcoming exhibit TOYS of the ‘50s, ‘60s, and ‘70s exhibition. This year’s theme offers nostalgia; featuring iconic toys like Barbie and Ken, Mr. Potato Head, and other childhood favorites. We can’t wait!

History Uncorked is a favorite event of the city, and it’s coming up quickly (Feb. 19), so we’ve outlined why it’s a must-attend event:

It’s for a Great Cause

History Uncorked annually fundraises support for several educational programs and services that the Heinz History Center offers. You can help the History Center maintain and expand their current programs to educate diverse audiences by attending!

Network with Professionals

The event attracts a large group of professionals from the Pittsburgh area from various industries. History Uncorked is a great opportunity for professionals to get together in a creative environment and make meaningful connections. Who knows who you might meet!

It’s a One-of-a-Kind Experience

An evening at History Uncorked is an evening of discovery, featuring dancing and live entertainment all in the unique context of the History Center. The event also features a silent auction, activities, tasty bites, and drinks from local Pittsburgh restaurants! General admission and VIP tickets include local cuisine samples and two drink tickets, but for the thirstier attendee there is also a cash bar.

VIP Tip

Attendees that buy VIP tickets are welcome to attend the Private VIP Pre-Reception open bar and hors d’oeuvres, which presents more networking opportunities. However, the VIP ticket really adds value by including a one year membership to the History Center and a one year subscription to their e-magazine!
