Pittsburgh Pride is the largest community festival in Western PA that celebrates the diversity of its LGBT community while providing a space to let loose and have a blast. Its producer, the Delta Foundation of Pittsburgh, is the leading non-profit advocacy organization and a longtime friend and partner to ShowClix. The organization’s mission is to be a vigilant catalyst for meaningful change in the lives of the LGBT community.
Pittsburgh Pride 2017 takes place June 2-11 in the Steel City with a theme of Rise UP which was voted on by the community and its allies via an online survey. The theme references the importance of the continued fight for nationwide equality for all citizens.

“Pittsburgh Pride is about the LGBT community being visible. It’s offering hope for the young gay man who’s been kicked out of his house that things will get better and continue to improve. It’s for the lesbian couple who can walk down the street openly holding hands. For the bisexual, it’s a place to find like-minded people, organizations and resources. It’s for the transgender community, who struggle daily with personal self-acceptance about who they are in a world where people still don’t understand them,” – Gary Van Horn, Delta Foundation President.
