Event Spotlight: Politicon 2018

Politicon, the Unconventional Political Convention, is returning to the Los Angeles Convention Center this October for its fourth annual gathering! Bringing together some of the biggest names in politics and entertainment, this convention promises a weekend of unconventional, yet highly entertaining, political discourse. Just two weeks before the Midterm Elections, there’s no better place to be for intellectually stimulating conversation and debates.

Politicon offers a full weekend of panels, debates, town halls, book signings, and more, spanning across ten stages. You’ll be able to get up close and personal with political heavyweights, share some laughs, and maybe have a conversation or two with some of recent history’s most notable leaders and influencers.

There’s no better time for this non-partisan comic-con-style event designed for politics and entertainment. Political junkies from across the nation gather under one roof to discuss beliefs, fact, fiction, and everything in between. Politicon 2017 had a record-breaking attendance of more than 10,000 people of all political stripes, and this year’s Politicon has even more in store!

Come prepared with an open mind as you sit down with big names across the political spectrum. Hear from Hasan Piker, an American journalist, producer, activist, and political commentator, who’s best known as the creator behind The Breakdown for The Young Turks on Facebook; Ben Shapiro, the editor-in-chief of DailyWire.com and host of the top conservative podcast in the nation, The Ben Shapiro Show; and Chris Christie, notable former Governor of New Jersey. Check out the full lineup for even more influential speakers.

Politicon is pushing the boundaries of politics as we know it today. It creates an environment where people from different backgrounds and opinions can come together and discuss politics in a positive, constructive way. Newt Gingrich, former Speaker of the House of Representatives, even says that “Politicon was an interesting drawing together of people from many backgrounds. It could grow into a really creative experience beyond left and right.”

If you’re the type of person who can’t get enough politics, then this is the convention for you. Get your tickets for Politicon today!
