Event Spotlight: Pumpkin Nights

Are you looking for somewhere to celebrate the Halloween season that the whole family can enjoy? You’re in luck! Pumpkin Nights is bringing you all the fun and enchantment of Halloween, without the creepy ghosts, ghouls, or anything else that goes “bump” in the night. This outdoor festival reclaims the wonder and whimsy of Halloween, one pumpkin at a time! From October 13-29, immerse yourself in a multi-sensory experience including face painting, photo-ops, clever costumes, and some incredible pumpkin art and themed displays.

More Locations Means More Spooky Fun

Featuring exceptional work from an incredible team of designers, artists, and foam sculptors who’ve created some truly amazing displays, Pumpkin Nights is the cream of the Halloween crop. After a wildly successful opening year in 2016, this outdoor festival is returning to Twin Cities, MN, and expanding this year to Salt Lake City, UT and Auburn, CA. At each of the three locations, there will be over 3,000 hand-carved pumpkins lighting up the night! Pumpkin Nights’ half-mile walking path takes you on a journey through different worlds, each offering a unique Halloween adventure. Take a trip through Scarecrow Row, Dracula’s Graveyard, Witch’s Brew, The Great Pumpkin Reef, and the Pumpkin Passage, which features 300 floating pumpkins! As you enter, don’t forget to pick up the Pumpkin Nights Scavenger Hunt to find hidden gems along the path.

Halloween Attractions For Everyone

While there are spooky elements like fog machines, coffins, and inflatable spiders, this family-friendly event is free of jump scares, blood, and gore. Instead, everyone from toddlers, to grandparents, to teenage couples can enjoy everything Pumpkin Nights has to offer! Dress up in costumes. Get your face painted. Grab a seasonal treat. Check out the Halloween-themed bike course for kids. Make the night your own, and create the most delightful Halloween tradition for you and your family. Not to mention, the larger-than-life displays, a hay bale maze, fire-breathers and dancers, plenty of food and drink (adult beverages as well!), and screenings of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone and The Nightmare Before Christmas will ensure the whole family has a magical time.

Carving The Night Away

Not only does Pumpkin Nights feature a dazzling array of pre-carved pumpkins, on weekends they also feature on-site pumpkin carving artist sessions! What better way to brush up on your carving skills than by watching the masters at work? Plus, put your skills to good use at the event’s pumpkin carving stations for you. Get creative and spooky and you might just have a jack-o-masterpiece on your hands!

This event is going to be absolutely fang-tastic, so get your tickets now!
