We’re kicking off 2015 with a new partnership with ParkWhiz, the platform that makes it easy to find and book parking from your phone.
Now available in over 150 cities around the country, ParkWhiz conveniently offers the opportunity to book parking before you reach your destination. Even in unfamiliar neighborhoods, there’ll be no more bypassing LOT FULL signs one after another as you circle the block searching for a parking spot.
ParkWhiz is currently available online and as an app for iOS and Android, but we’ve also begun to integrate the platform into several customer-facing areas of the ticket purchase process.
On the order confirmation page after a customer has purchased tickets, we’ve added a ParkWhiz widget that shows a preview map of the area and links directly to parking options. Additionally, we’ve included a link to find parking options to the event reminder email we send to every attendee the day before the event.
As a ShowClix client, you don’t even need to set anything up. ParkWhiz’s API automatically locates nearby parking facilities based on the address information for your venue.
But what if there’s no ParkWhiz-approved parking in the area? Don’t worry — ParkWhiz is adding new parking facilities every day! Just get in touch with us, and we’ll coordinate with ParkWhiz to see if new parking options may be made available near you.
