Last Minute Reminders for Your Halloween Celebration

  • By ShowClix Team | Wednesday, October 31st, 2012

Here at the ShowClix office, we are so excited it is Halloween and to dress up for the holiday! We’re trying to be serious during meetings, guessing people’s personas correctly, smirking because people on the other line of the phone have no idea we are in full-blown costume, and eagerly awaiting our company party this evening.

But before the merriment begins, we wanted to give some last minute reminders for your Halloween celebration, as well as a sneak peak at some of the awesome costumes that are roaming around the office today:

Camera: We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again, be sure to get pictures of everyone’s costume before the wild rumpus begins! Pictures say a thousand words, and they’ll hold memories for a lifetime, so don’t miss out on snapping tons of photos during the Halloween event, especially at the beginning of the night!

Guest list: Print out a guest list for your Halloween party! Make guests feel important as soon as they come through the door, especially when they say, “Joe Schmoe and his plus one.” Visit this support article for how to print out and view your guest list with ShowClix.

Flashlights/Glow Sticks: This is the night to be eerie, but you don’t want to be lost or have people completely left in the dark! Get some glow sticks or a flashlight if you plan on wandering around late Halloween night or want to take the party to a whole other level!

Music: No Halloween event is complete without spooky-good tunes! Check out this Halloween mashup by Pretty Lights to set the mood or stream this Halloween ‘I Heart Radio’ station.

Tickets: Of course, don’t forget your tickets, whether they are print-at-home or mobile! Visit My Tickets to view your tickets for tonight’s Halloween event, and why you’re at it, check out the event details before you head out.

Costume: Finally, do we have to remind you to wear your costume? What’s that? You don’t have any good ideas? Check out what some of us Clixrs are rocking at the office today:

Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? Our very own Director of Account Management, Matt Donnelly!

The lovely Katie Smith, Senior Account Manager, made her very own owl costume!

The Dude, aka Director of Sales, Pat Lucas, abides…

“GERSBERMS! Mah fravrit berks! ” says Account Executive Erin Borger.

Software Engineer Ted Zellers knows how to win the ladies in this ensemble…

Thanks to Jim Rice for editing and supplying all of these awesome photos!

Be sure to have a safe and happy Halloween this year! Feel free to share your costume ideas or photos from your own Halloween parties in the comments section below! We would love to be inspired for next Halloween 🙂
