Last weekend I was fully immersed in the Big Apple at BravoCon! During this highly-anticipated Bravo extravaganza, our on-site team provided support in access control, credential scanning and fulfillment, capacity monitoring, box office ticket sales, and general customer service.
The days were busy, but knowing that we could meet the challenges that come with helping to power an event across three different venues in New York City was extremely gratifying. The Manhattan Center was split into multiple event spaces between the Hammerstein Ballroom and the Grand Ballroom which made capacity control for the 45+ panels and performances much more important. We worked with the client to develop a comprehensive plan to make sure we were hitting all entrance and exit points, so all fans were safe and happy.
The best part of the weekend was seeing all of the excited fans who attended the first ever BravoCon and how they had so many opportunities to see all their favorite “Bravolebrities” up close and personal. It was like Christmas for Bravo fans, and it feels great knowing that we were able to help facilitate that excitement!
It was delightful to work on-site at this event with several members of the Patron Technology family. In addition to ShowClix, Thuzi provided credential registration and internal access control and Greencopper developed the official BravoCon mobile app. It was rewarding to work together as a Patron family on-site and seeing all of our pre-event coordination and planning come to fruition.
