Road Journal: ComplexCon

Our team was thrilled to partner once again with ComplexCon, an expertly curated convention and festival bringing the internet to life through exclusive streetwear, sneaker drops, live music, panel conversations, and so much more! Read on for some of our team members’ favorite highlights from this iconic cultural event.

Road Journal: ComplexConThis weekend our team had the fantastic opportunity to work alongside our partners at ComplexCon in Long Beach, CA for the second year. ComplexCon brings music and fashion together with acts such as N.E.R.D., M.I.A., Gucci Mane, and brands like Nike, Puma, Adidas and more. People started lining up Friday morning to be the first in when the show opened on Saturday morning, for a chance at exclusive drops from Nike, Adidas and others. Along with a show floor full of designers and popular brands, there were panels happening all weekend as well. There was also the Pigeons and Planes stage on the show floor, where fans could get up close and personal with acts like Pharrell Williams, DJ Khaled and ASAP Ferg.

ShowClix took care of ticketing for the event, along with lead capture rental for exhibitors, and access control at both the show and concert gates. We feel lucky to be a part of an event that brings together a “trade show” environment and a music festival so seamlessly.

Road Journal: ComplexConThis past weekend, I had the incredible opportunity to be part of the ComplexCon onsite team for the second year in a row! ComplexCon is a festival and exhibition that brings together pop culture, art, food and fashion. It takes place at the Long Beach Convention Center, which is covered in majestic paintings of whales.

The ShowClix team was responsible for all of the event’s registration, ticketing, and access control to the venue. I love getting the chance to see the convention grow from the first year and see all the changes that were made. My favorite part (returning from last year) was the great selection of food trucks; we frequented the Chicken and Waffle food truck almost everyday. All in all it was great event and I’m looking forward to next year’s!
