As part of the ShowClix on-site team, I had the opportunity yet again to work with PAX East at the Boston Convention Center this past weekend! This highly anticipated annual event surpassed every expectation, drawing yet another amazing crowd of enthusiastic gaming devotees for a full weekend of action.
In addition to the competitions, demos, performances, and panels, there were so many awesome cosplayers in attendance this year. It was obvious from the intricate outfits and props they created that they invested a lot of time into their looks – and it paid off!
Each morning during the event, our team arrived to find attendees already lined up outside to be among the first to enter the queue hall. ReedPOP did a fantastic job of getting everyone in safely and quickly each day. I was on-site to assist with Will Call and on-site ticket sales for the event, and the process was very smooth from start to finish. The event team also worked alongside our friends from Thuzi, who once again provided the PAX XP prize towers, which are daily quests offering the potential to drop some serious loot for winners. After such an incredible weekend, one thing’s for sure: we can’t wait for the next PAX!
