The ShowClix Event Operations team headed to San Antonio this past weekend for PAX South 2020! PAX is always an eventful celebration because the fans are so dedicated. There are all types of pop culture and gaming fans at PAX, some are more into tabletop games, while others are PC and console fiends, but they all share a love for the community, making PAX South 2020 yet another legendary event.

The PAX team is all about inclusivity, and this shows with their dedicated spaces committed to diversity and community. PAX Together is a showcase area that highlights diversity within developers and gaming community groups. PAX also collaborated with @LatinosInGaming to create a space that celebrates Latinx cultures and contributions to gaming! The Latinx Lounge provided a dedicated space for Latinx gamers and developers to play games and find out more about the industry.

This sense of community was always at the core of the event. Every morning the Patron Technology team was on-site to help welcome a farseeing line of enthusiastic fans ready to enter the queue hall! After these attendees entered quickly and safely, our team was there to assist with fulfillment, ticket sales, badge pickups, and any general tech support needs.

Our partners at ReedPOP, producers of extraordinary fandom events like PAX and New York Comic Con, are always a delight to work with! They truly know how to embrace the fandom communities and impress gamers, cosplayers, and pop culture fans with their innovative conventions and events. We’re already counting down to the next expo, PAX East in Boston February 27 – March 1!
