Are you on Google+? Should you be?
According to data from SEO platform BrightEdge, 61% of top brands have already created Google+ Pages within the first week of the feature’s launch. Meanwhile, geek hub TechCrunch has speculated that Google+ Pages may be able to “one-up” Facebook’s Pages (formerly titled “Facebook Fan Pages” for a hot minute.)
It may not be entirely clear how Google+ Pages will distinguish themselves from their Facebook counterparts. Still, as the line between event promotion and social media presence continues to blur, it certainly can’t hurt to have another place to engage your audience.
