The Latest Version of Axess Lets You Scan Tickets with Android Phones

  • By Anthony | Friday, February 13th, 2015

The wait is over.

Previously available only for iOS, our ticket scanning app, Axess, has officially been released for the Android operating system. The app functions in virtually the same way as the iPhone version aside from some subtle visual differences, but the app maintains all of the same essential features.

  • Scan tickets. As quick and simple as possible, scanning tickets with Axess is just a matter of logging in, downloading tickets for your event and pointing the device’s camera at a barcode. Each ticket can be validated in under a second, which keeps your lines moving.
  • Scan stats. Within the app, you’ll be able to see the scan stats across all of your synced scanners at a glance.
  • Checkout mode. Have a lot of folks coming and going during the event? Need a strict way to monitor your venue’s capacity? Use checkout mode to validate tickets as guests leave, and you’ll keep track of how many guests remain inside the event at any given time.
  • And more!

Best of all, your organization is now able to scan with a much wider variety of devices. Check out the list of supported devices below:

Axess iOS
iOS 6.1 and newer. (iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5, iPhone 4s, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, and iPod touch (fourth and fifth generation)).
Axess Android
4.2 (Jelly Bean) and newer. (Tested devices: Nexus 5, Moto E, Moto G. Rear camera required.)
