Summer Event Ops Travel

We know you want to provide the best experience possible for your attendees from start to finish. That’s why we created our Event Operations team to help you run the show on the day of the event.

With the busiest season for events right around the corner, the Event Ops team are packing their bags and preparing to hit the road (or the skies, technically).

We can barely keep track of all the events we have scheduled this summer, but here’s a preview of a few events where you’ll find us helping out!

UFC Fan Expo, July 5-6 in Las Vegas, NV

In the first week of July, ShowClix Event Operations Manager Katie Smith will attend the UFC Fan Expo in Las Vegas, NV. The event enlisted our help for running sales at the door through our box office system and on-site fulfillment. As always, our Event Specialists will be assisting with hardware setup, networking and staff training.

“It’s always great to see young people get the opportunity to meet their heroes,” Katie said. “Especially when those heroes are promoting an active and healthy lifestyle.”

Bunbury Festival, July 11-13 in Cincinnati, OH

Event Specialist and Senior Account Manager Aaron Crothers will return to Cincinnati for the third annual Bunbury Festival. Ranked as one of this year’s 10 Summer Festivals Worth Knowing, Bunbury makes the most of our admissions technology to execute a flawless event entry process at the gate. At the event, Aaron will sell tickets, troubleshoot hardware and train the Bunbury staff.

NYC Pride 2014, June 26-29 in New York, NY

Deanne Zatko, Event Specialist, can’t wait for NYC Pride. She and Katie will head to New York in a few weeks to scan tickets at the gate and work the box office throughout the weekend. Of course, we’ll still make time to attend some of the exciting events planned, like the exclusive rooftop parties or the pier dance party featuring Demi Lovato.

These events are just a glance at what our team has in store this year. It’s a good thing we’ve been saving those frequent flyer miles!
