Highlights from the DonorPro 2012 User Conference for Nonprofits

Last week, individuals from the nonprofit community gathered together for the inaugural DonorPro User Conference to connect and learn new techniques for nonprofit outreach, marketing, and donor management efforts. Taking place at the scenic Sheraton of Station Square in Pittsburgh, it was several days filled with insight, lessons, and ways to bring nonprofit ideas to life. On July 3, 2012, ShowClix earned the “Hottest Companies in Pennsylvania” award. After combing through tons of data (press releases, business articles including venture capital fundings, new office openings, and much much more), Lead411 narrowed down a list of 460 companies in our region and ShowClix made it to the top 23 list. ShowClix Welcomes Pittsburgh Ticketing Engineers

As a growing tech company, we’re always looking for good ideas and the people who have them, so last night we opened our doors (and our beers) to welcome some of the city’s brightest software engineers.

Over snack trays and a keg, our own engineering team met with the newbs in our ClixCafé to discuss software, tickets, and working at ShowClix.

Conversations From The 2011 Billboard Touring Conference

Last week, three members of the ShowClix team attended this year’s Billboard Touring Conference and Awards conference.

The event kicked off with opening remarks from Billboard Editorial Director Bill Werde, followed by remarks from ShowClix’s Director of Sales, Pat Lucas. Lucas’ remarks introduced a conversation about innovation in ticketing and the influence of social media, which was covered at length by the first panel of the conference, “How Exactly Will Social Sell Tickets?”
