Road Journal: Awesome Con 2018

This past weekend marked my third trip to Washington, DC to support Awesome Con, the highly-anticipated annual convention that brings together thousands of fans to celebrate a diverse range of fandoms. This year, ShowClix partnered with Awesome Con and LeftField Media on-site to support the attendee registration and merchandise sales, as well as autograph sales and redemption at the event. Road Journal: Pensacon 2018

Last weekend, I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to visit Pensacola, FL to experience and photograph Pensacon on behalf of our marketing team! Pensacon, or Pensacola Comic Con, is an annual comic and pop culture convention that has grown so rapidly over the past several years that the entire city of Pensacola participates. Pensacon’s mission is to create the best multi-genre convention that is both a safe and welcoming environment for all types of fans, and unique to the Pensacola community. Road Journal: TRISTAR Houston Collectors Show 2018

Earlier this month, our Director of Client Services, Matt Donnelly, and I headed down to Houston, TX for the 32nd Annual TRISTAR Collectors Show. This three day event was a sports lover’s dream! There were multiple opportunities to get both photo ops and autographs from famous athletes across a multitude of sports, and I could tell the fans were really loving it. (more…)

Road Journal: Magical Winter Lights

This month, I was lucky enough to spend two weeks with the Magical Winter Lights (MWL) team at both their Houston (La Marque) and Dallas (Grand Prairie) locations. On top of a magical light show, the events include added features like an interactive dinosaur exhibit, live acrobatic performances, games, carnival rides, and other live entertainment. The awe-inspiring light displays were broken into themes across the event, which varied by location.
